SAN (Styrene Acrylonitrile): an amorphous polymer belonging to the styrenic resin family. The transparency and technical characteristics are comparable to crystal Polystyrene (GP-PS), but the chemical resistance of SAN is superior. This means that it is ideal for better resisting washing in the dishwasher and contact with certain food substances which for GP-PS can be more critical.
